We met in late October,

you were trying to get sober,

funny how I trusted every word you said.

You called me to come over,

I was the clay and you my molder,

funny how I thought you loved me.

You said I was the one,

but now that it's over and done.

I don't miss you anymore,

those muddy footprints by the door,

your cheap gifts or the way you snore.

No, I don't miss your crappy car,

or the smell of your cigar,

No, I don't miss you anymore

I was tired of covering,

for your ass time and time again,

you even made me lie to my friends.

I pushed away my family,

only peace is when I'm asleep,

I knew you'd disappoint me.

You said I was the one,

but now that it's over and done.

I don't miss you anymore,

those muddy footprints by the door,

your cheap gifts and the way you snore.

No, I don't miss your crappy car,

or the smell of your cigar,

No, I don't miss you anymore

You are falling on wet cement,

sprawling over just a dent,

saving just one more cent,

no wonder your not the one
